Job Description

At Three Farmers Foods, we don't just move products, we move purpose. Every shipment represents a connection between farmers, families, and communities. Behind the scenes, our

Logistics Specialist

ensures those connections happen smoothly, efficiently, and on time.

About the Role

Your day will be a mix of planning, coordination, and problem-solving. One moment you're confirming raw material deliveries with suppliers, the next you're troubleshooting a shipment delay with a carrier or updating customer portals to keep orders moving. You'll collaborate with procurement, production, sales, and finance teams while also managing relationships with carriers and 3PL partners.

This role is about more than managing trucks and schedules; it's about

keeping promises

to our customers and ensuring that farmers' hard work reaches shelves across Canada and beyond.

What You'll Do

Oversee the transportation of raw materials and finished products. Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and 3PL partners to keep timelines on track. Manage contracts, rates, and performance scorecards for carriers. Support inventory management and transfers between production and warehouses. Ensure compliance with food safety, safety regulations, and export requirements. Contribute to process improvements, reporting, and cost-saving initiatives.

What You Bring

3-7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations (food industry experience is an asset). Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain, or business. Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and solutions-focused thinking. Familiarity with transportation management systems, inventory systems, or customer shipping portals. Calm under pressure, great communicator, and collaborative team player.
