WE ARE HIRING "Logistics Specialist"



Position Summary



We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Logistics Specialist, Auto Parts Logistics to join our team at Hyundai Glovis Canada at our Mississauga Headquarters.

In this role, you will be responsible for fulfilling and exceeding subsidiary expectations by delivering the highest level of customer service and quality across logistics operations.

You will support the optimization of transactional and operational processes to improve efficiency and minimize costs, while maintaining strong relationships with automotive clients through regular communication and service support. Additionally, you will monitor and track shipment status for new business accounts, providing timely and accurate updates to clients to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities



1) Assignment & Work Location



This role will be assigned as a dedicated resource for the Windsor project, requiring on-site work at the Windsor plant for a minimum of six (6) months. The Windsor assignment period may be extended within the one-year employment term, depending on project progress and business needs. Upon completion or transition of the project phase, the employee may be relocated to Hyundai Glovis Canada's Mississauga office, subject to operational requirements. For candidates not currently residing in the Windsor area, limited relocation support may be considered, in accordance with company policy and individual circumstances. The employee will be required to report to the Mississauga head office at least once per month for business updates, reporting, and coordination.

2) Business Development & Project Support



Complete all mandatory customer-required training programs to ensure full understanding of operational procedures, safety standards, and compliance requirements. Support the initial setup and stabilization phase of the new Windsor project through close coordination with customers and internal stakeholders. Coordinate with internal departments including Operations, Pricing, Accounting, and Procurement to ensure seamless service delivery. Communicate and coordinate with Hyundai Glovis Headquarters (Korea) for procurement-related matters, including overnight coordination when required, to support project and operational needs. Support the team in achieving revenue and business growth objectives for new and existing accounts.

3) Operations & Logistics Coordination



Support logistics coordination for new and existing accounts, including booking, documentation, and shipment tracking across ocean, inland, and air transportation modes. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of shipping and customs documentation in compliance with applicable regulations. Conduct daily monitoring of shipment location and transportation status across all modes (ocean, rail, truck). Track and trace shipments and provide regular status updates to clients. Ensure timely responses and accurate documentation handling to meet customer and operational requirements. Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and agents to ensure efficient service execution. Contribute to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.

Experience



Minimum 3+ years of office work experience. Minimum 2+ years of experience in logistics operations and/or logistics-related sales. Experience supporting automotive, manufacturing, or large-scale logistics projects is preferred. Experience with multi-modal transportation (ocean, air, inland) is an asset.

Korean language proficiency is highly preferred, to support communication and coordination with Hyundai Glovis Headquarters (Korea).

Ability and willingness to support extended on-site assignment in Windsor, Ontario (minimum six months) is required.

Strong logistics coordination and shipment tracking capabilities. Excellent response management and documentation accuracy. Effective vendor and carrier communication skills. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to maintain high service quality and satisfaction. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently on-site while maintaining close coordination with head office teams.

Pay: $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
