Stevested Machinery Engineering Ltd. has a long-standing history of over 55+ years in the Machining business and is currently focusing on the next phase with a brand-new facility located in Campbell Heights North, Surrey, BC with exciting new challenges that are moving our company into the future. The Role:



The Logistics Operator works behind the scenes ensuring timely and accurate communication of all orders with internal and external customers. You provide exceptional customer service and are passionate about always looking for better ways to support the team. Your role will support inventory control, logistics, scheduling, shipping, and production planning.

2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment with ERP experience 2+ years experience in Shipping, Warehouse and Logistics experience Provide exceptional customer service, surpassing expectations Coordinates with multiple vendors/suppliers and service providers to ensure maximum efficiency and prompt delivery of service and products Performs preparation of all shipping documents, tracking information, and inventory releases Creates and communicates freight quotes and shipping and tracking information Keeps all customers informed of status of orders Communicates regularly with management, quality control, planning and the entire team to support all scheduling activities as needed Excellent communication skills and builds trust and strong relationships both internally and externally Adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events, and high production pressure Highly motivated, self-driven, strong attention to detail and works well independently and with supervision Ability to follow direction, meet deadlines and troubleshoot unanticipated problems Perform work in accordance with documented policies and quality standards Be punctual and reliable to attend work for a minimum of 40 hours per week Assist with other administrative tasks as needed Post-secondary education in related field

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
