THE ROLE:



The

Logistics Manager

will oversee the transportation, storage, and distribution of materials, ensuring efficient and timely delivery to support Denison's project and mining operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and logistics management within the mining or heavy industry sector.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE



You are detail-oriented, organized, and bring experience in warehouse operations and logistics management within the mining or heavy industry sector. Additional qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred. Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the mining industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software required. Experience with accounting or ERP software; SAP ByDesign experience is an asset. Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, outstanding organizational and time management abilities, and strong communication skills, including the capacity to present financial information clearly.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:



Create and maintain an organized warehouse layout that supports accessibility, safety, and operational efficiency. Provide supervisory direction, coaching and training to warehouse personnel. Oversee the efficient receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch of materials, equipment, and supplies. Monitor the status of purchase orders and deliveries to ensure timely arrival. Communicate regularly with vendors to confirm shipping and delivery timelines. Ensure safe and effective movement of goods within the warehouse and between warehouse and project / site locations. Oversee maintenance and safe operation of warehouse tools, vehicles, and handling equipment. Plan, schedule, and monitor transportation of materials and supplies from the warehouse to the sites to support operational and project needs. Address transportation delays, damaged goods, and delivery challenges promptly and effectively. Work closely with procurement, operations, and site teams to align logistics planning with construction and project timelines and critical needs. Promote and enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Manage and monitor supplier performance in alignment with Denison's supplier management program(s). Work with the supply chain team to negotiate new agreements for transportation and materials.
