Job Overview:
As the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for leading the setup, launch, and ongoing stabilization of warehouse operations in close coordination with 3PL partners and internal SCM, IT, and Sales teams. You will oversee daily warehousing and distribution activities, ensuring compliance with SLAs, accurate order fulfillment, and reliable inventory control. You will manage warehouse-related KPIs, identify operational issues, and implement timely, practical solutions to support continuous improvement. On a daily basis, you will coordinate order-to-delivery execution, support SAP-WMS/EDI integration, and ensure smooth data flow between internal systems and 3PL partners.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, hands-on problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing logistics environment. Your primary goal will be to successfully launch the warehouse by mid-March and stabilize operations within the first year while balancing service levels and logistics costs.
Success will be measured through KPIs such as SLA compliance, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment performance, and system reliability. The company expects you to collaborate cross-functionally, manage 3PL warehouse and delivery partners effectively, and support customers transitioning to RDC-based distribution.
Background Profile:
5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, 3PL management, or distribution.
Proven prior experience in setting up, launching, or stabilizing warehouse operations.
Strong knowledge of 3PL operations, SLA management, and logistics cost structures.
You will have practical experience working with SAP and integrating SAP with WMS/EDI systems.
