Summary

We are seeking a Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team in Canada. In this pivotal role, you will oversee logistics operations that contribute directly to our mission of delivering high-quality ingredients efficiently. Your expertise will ensure that our supply chain runs smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities

Enforce rules, procedures, safe work practices, health and safety standards and use of personal protective equipment Comply with and enforce Food Safety & Quality policies and procedures Maintain FIFO or FEFO requirements for raw materials, packaging materials and finished products, and verify storage conditions are respected Manage stock / inventories at internal and external warehouses; ensure proper movements of materials between warehouses Lead Inventory Control activities, continuously monitoring finished product and raw material quantities to minimize variances Request import and export documentation as required (e.g. Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dispatchers, FDA) Active member of the HACCP Team, and participate in internal / external audits Provide feedback on weekly production losses attributed to the warehouses or logistics. Justify monthly budget deviations as required Manage Logistics Operators in an unionized environment. Oversee their duties and support with training, conduct performance management reviews and issue disciplinary actions as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing / warehouse setting Forklift licence required, and trained in powered material handling equipment Knowledge of HACCP and GMPs required Strong attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.; be able to stand, bend, lift, twist, and turn for extended periods of time Work effectively both independently and within a team environment Must be safety and quality conscious

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
