The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Logistics Manager to join our office-based operations team in Hammonds Plains, NS. This role is responsible for load booking, shipment coordination, and daily operational communication with customers, brokers, and internal teams.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced position suited for someone who understands freight operations and can manage multiple shipments while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Book and manage freight loads through load boards and direct customer/broker communication Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments Monitor shipment progress and proactively address delays or issues Communicate with customers, brokers, drivers, and dispatch teams Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner Maintain accurate shipment and load data in dispatch and tracking systems Support daily logistics and operational workflows Ensure smooth execution of domestic and cross-border shipments Contribute to operational efficiency and service reliability

Who You Are

Experience in logistics, dispatch, load booking, or transportation operations is preferred Familiarity with load boards and freight processes is an asset Strong organizational and multitasking skills Clear and professional communicator Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based environment Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset Experience with TMS or fleet management systems is an asset but not required
