Overview

At SUNRISE KITCHENS, our people are our greatest assets. We require an individual to join our team as a Logistics Crew. In this job, you will be rotated between the shipping and delivery teams. The job requires loading & unloading cabinets and helping with the required tasks in the Logistics Department.

Responsibilities

1.0 Shipping

Offload cabinets from wrapping machine Follow proper loading documentation procedure Load trucks with cabinets efficiently while avoiding any damages to the product Load all equipment/tools needed for delivery Ensure all product and equipment are secure in the truck
2.0 Delivery

Assist in making local deliveries and/or drive the company passenger vehicle to the job site (if necessary) Unload the trucks at the job site and store product in the designated units in an organized manner, while avoiding damages to the product or property Confirm all units have received all required product and proper documentation back to Sunrise Report any damages on site to the Supervisor or Team Lead from Sunrise Responsible to manage other site tasks as assigned by the Logistics Manager and return delivery equipment (dollies, etc.) Professional attitude required at the job site, including customer homes or construction sites Adhere to all site safety policies and protocols (safety orientations, PPE, etc.)

Requirements

Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract High school and/or post-secondary school education Can legally work in Canada Proficient in English, written and verbal
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
