Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and overall supply chain management. This position involves working closely with various departments to optimize processes and improve logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Manage shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely delivery of goods. Oversee order picking and packaging processes to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems to track inventory levels and manage stock. Collaborate with purchasing teams for procurement needs and sourcing of materials. Analyze data related to logistics processes for continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with transportation management systems (TMS) for effective freight management. Assist in demand planning to align inventory levels with customer needs. Support third-party logistics (3PL) operations to enhance service delivery. Conduct regular audits of warehouse processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or order fulfillment. Familiarity with transportation management systems, data analysis skills, and process improvement methodologies. Knowledge of supply chain principles, including pricing strategies and demand planning. Experience with CMMS, AS400, and e-commerce platforms is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing logistics operations. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments. A background in materials management or procurement is highly desirable.
