Job Title: Logistics & Distribution Contingent worker
Location: Nisku, AB
Shift: 8:00 AM MST to 5:00 PM MST
Our client is seeking a Logistics & Distribution Contingent worker to join their team. As a Logistics & Distribution Contingent worker, you will be part of the logistics department supporting various operational activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
:

  • Ensure timely flow of materials and resources through the company by monitoring inbound and outbound logistics processes
  • Coordinate work schedules across departments to maintain smooth operations and prevent delays
  • Manage relationships with contracted couriers, ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries
  • Review and approve transportation invoices, troubleshoot issues, and develop improvement strategies
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to optimize logistics operations
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in logistics or supply chain management preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics and customs documentation
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with diverse teams
