Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the planning and dispatching of drivers, trucks, and trailers.

Responsibilities:

To meet or exceed customer expectations while maximizing revenue per mile. To reduce empty miles as much as possible resulting in increased revenues. To provide relevant feedback to the General Manager on market conditions and driver performance. Frequent communication with drivers and General Manager. Negotiates freight rates with customers. Other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

High school graduate Previous experience in the trucking industry Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook Excellent communication skills Strong problem solving & decision-making abilities Knowledge of customs and border clearance processes
