Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
DUXTON Windows & Doors is looking to hire a Logistics Coordinator, effective immediately. Shipping and receiving is a key business function, and a great opportunity for the right candidate! The coordinator will be directly responsible for quoting and booking trucks within Canada and to the USA. This position is responsible for leading the shipping team to: offload incoming materials; deliver materials to the production line; and arrange pick-ups/deliveries. Successful applicants will have lots of drive, energy, leadership, and organizational skills, to help lead the team to success.
Job description:
Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound shipments
Complete paperwork relating to inbound and outbound shipments
Loading and unloading trucks
Help to keep materials/inventory organized
Keep the lot clear and organized
Requirements:
2+ years experience in Shipping Administration
Valid driver's license (Class 5)
Preferably with experience of operating a forklift, but not required
Clear criminal record
Ability to direct the loading of very large windows/doors (50+ lbs)
Reliable and organized
A long-term commitment to new opportunities (more than 2 years of work at most jobs on your resume)

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
