About Nehring Transport

Nehring Transport is a fast-growing transportation provider dedicated to delivering efficient and reliable transportation solutions. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in, operational coordination and client acquisition and retention. Experience in flat deck hauling operations as well as safety and transport compliance will be a benefit. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to be successful in this position. Competency using dispatch software and both Google/Microsoft platforms is required. This is a permanent full time position Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with the occasional on-call coverage as required.

Job Overview

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible to help drive new business growth by working with the General Manager to secure and maintain new and existing customers, oversee drivers and dispatching for the next days tasks. Managing ongoing shipments, and coordinating with customers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and reach out to potential clients to promote Nehring Transport's services. Manage current and new drivers. Dispatch next days tasks for drivers using dispatch software. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business. Negotiate contracts and pricing with new and existing clients. Create a strong relationship with clients while maintaining a high levels of customer service. Shipment Coordination along with Operations & Administrative Support. Arrange, schedule, and track shipments to ensure timely delivery. Communicate with customers and brokers to optimize transportation solutions. Maintain accurate records of shipments, customer agreements, and client interactions. Work closely with the internal transport team to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications & Skills

Experience in transportation, freight brokerage and logistics coordination are preferred. Ability to perform sales and relationship-building skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in logistics software along with various Microsoft and Google platforms. Excellent communication, organizational and attention to detail skills are a must. Valid driver's license.
