Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and scientific solutions industry, is seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the Supply Chain department supporting operations related to receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong decision-making skills, and effective leadership qualities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Toronto, ON
Pay Range: $20-22/hr
Length of Assignment : 3 weeks
What's the Job?

  • Ensure all supply chain activities are conducted according to approved procedures and regulatory standards such as ISO 9001, OSHA, DOT, IATA, and FDA.
  • Process receiving, stockroom, and shipping transactions accurately within the Oracle ERP system.
  • Create and maintain detailed reports on all logistics functions and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Maintain product integrity during movement, handle sensitive products appropriately, and prepare necessary documentation for domestic and international compliance.
  • Lead inventory accuracy efforts, perform cycle counts, and research inventory issues to ensure precise stock levels.
What's Needed?
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in domestic and international logistics, receiving, or shipping roles.
  • Experience handling sensitive materials, especially cold chain products, preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Experience working in a GMP or FDA-regulated environment is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Oracle E-Business Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
