The Opportunity?
We believe that our success depends upon having the right people in the right jobs with the ability to work well together. We are currently accepting applications for a Logistics Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating, planning and preparing feed production and delivery schedules to efficiently and effective meet customer requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities?
Key expectations for this role will include:
+ Coordinate daily feed production and delivery schedules to ensure customer orders are produced/delivered effectively and efficiently
+ Ensure that customers are on the proper feeding program
+ Organize daily truck schedules for feed truck drivers and prepare required documentation for deliveries
+ Monitor bulk feed customers daily and verify inventory levels
+ Schedule all feed and in town grain deliveries
+ Complete daily and monthly reports as required
+ Monitor feed inventories on a weekly basis to ensure optimum supply
+ Check supplied feed inventories against predicted amounts
+ Assist with inventory counts
+ Prepares daily computerized shipping documents
+ Collaborate with the fleet manager on the trucks maintenance and repairs
+ Facilitate timely responses to customer inquiries
+ Other duties as required
Is role right for you?
If you have strong attention to detail and the ability to successfully multitask in a fast paced setting this could be a fantastic opportunity for you. You will have post-secondary education in business or logistics, combined with 2 years production/logistics experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
