Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics department. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, tracking and tracing shipments, and maintaining accurate records of all logistics activities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any logistics issues
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Assist in the development and implementation of transportation management systems
- Oversee materials management, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials
- Coordinate freight pricing and negotiate contracts with carriers
