Our Logistics Coordinators are expected to:
Maintain accurate computer files and records for inventory, customer parts movement, incoming and outgoing shipments
Prepare and manage shipments for all MDS Coating locations, international and domestic, including all associated paperwork and computer filings with customers, using internal systems and external portals
Work closely with couriers, transport companies, suppliers, and customs brokers to expedite, trace or return shipments
Lead monthly inventory counts and reconciliations, including monitoring of consumable expiration dates and levels
Obtain and use working knowledge of applicable quality system and documents
Maintain and update as required, all Process Instruction documents for the department, to ensure correctness and completeness
Work with continuous improvement team and other departments to improve processes
Other related duties as assigned
MDS is looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
Two (2) years of shipping and receiving experience preferred
High level of attention to detail
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Intermediate computer proficiency
Excellent work ethic: reliable, responsible, and able to work with minimum supervision in a team environment
Demonstrated problem solving and job task planning skills
Effective oral and written communications skills
Ability to lift and move parts onto and off shipping dock
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for Controlled Goods
Schedule:
Day shift - Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour
