The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and coordination of logistics operations.
What Will You Do?
Overseeing day-to-day logistics activities, including both shipping and receiving.
Coordinating transportation providers and loads.
Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating stock replenishment when needed.
Scheduling and tracking shipments and resolving any issues that arise.
Overseeing the packing slips scanned by Shipper/Receivers before orders go out to ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents.
Ensuring timely deliveries.
Maintaining accurate shipping records.
Communicating with suppliers, carriers, customers, as well as the Logistics Planner and other internal teams.
Answering customer inquiries.
Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Required Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Qualifications:
2+ years' experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
Knowledge of supply chain processes.
APICS supply chain certification would be an asset.
Experience using a TMS, ERP system, or other logistics management software.
Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
Good communicator.
