Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Liaise with drivers, freight forwarders, and warehouse personnel to arrange shipments and resolve any issues that may arise. Monitor and track the movement of shipments to ensure they adhere to schedules and meet delivery deadlines. Assist in the optimization of transportation routes and load consolidation to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records related to shipments, expenses, and transportation activities. Collaborate with the sales team to provide logistics support and contribute to the development of new business opportunities. Maintain effective communication with clients to address inquiries, provide updates, and address any concerns promptly. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, shipping trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in logistics or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office applications. Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining accurate records. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. A team player with a positive attitude and a problem-solving mindset. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
