Shoreline Lubricants is a family-owned business founded in 1976. We distribute fuel, lubricants, and DEF locally and across the Atlantic provinces. Our main office is in Grand-Barachois, New Brunswick with branches in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia as well as Mount Pearl, Newfoundland.

Position Overview

The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient, accurate, and safe scheduling and delivery of lubricants to our customers. This position manages day-to-day logistics operations, coordinates drivers and fleet schedules, tracks inventory movements, and acts as a liaison between customers, drivers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and monitor deliveries of bulk and packaged lubricants and DEF to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. Dispatch drivers, assign routes, and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer requirements. Maintain accurate records of orders, delivery tickets, bills of lading, and inventory movements. Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, special requirements, and service updates. Monitor fleet activity, including vehicle availability, driver hours of service, and regulatory compliance. Work closely with warehouse and operations staff to coordinate loading, packaging, and dispatch of products. Track and optimize transportation costs, fuel usage, and delivery efficiency. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and DOT regulations related to bulk lubricant handling and transport. Assist with resolving delivery issues, product shortages, and service complaints. Support continuous improvement initiatives for logistics processes and customer service.
Qualifications

2+ years of experience in logistics, dispatching, supply chain, or transportation coordination (lubricants, fuel, or chemicals industry preferred). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of DOT, HAZMAT, and safety regulations in relation to bulk liquid transport. Proficiency in logistics software, dispatch systems, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Excellent communication skills for interacting with drivers, customers, and internal teams. Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Attributes

Experience in lubricant, fuel, or chemical distribution. Familiarity with fleet management systems and route optimization software. Strong customer service orientation with a proactive and solution-driven approach.

Pay: $19.00-$22.70 per hour
