We are partnering with a unique and essential aerospace company located in Ville St-Laurent, Quebec, to help them find a Logistics Coordinator. Reporting to the transportation manager, here are the responsibilities of the position:
- Coordinate the movement of Aircraft Parts and related equipment (Air & Ground)
- Request quotes from carriers
- Produce commercial invoices for shipments to US and Overseas
- Tracking of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Monitor transportation invoicing and prices
- Inform of any transportation-related issues, damaged shipments, delays, high costs
- Assist with Critical and AOG (Aircraft on The Ground) shipments
- Provide assistance to the Supply Chain in transportation-related activities in areas such as Request For Parts (RFP), Purchase Orders/Repair Orders, Inventory, Warehousing
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
