Reporting to the Manager, Logistics and Transportation, the Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in day-to-day logistics operations and customs clearance activities. This position requires a strong understanding of import/export compliance, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in logistics and customs clearance Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience managing freight/LTL shipments Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and compliance standards Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems Exceptional organizational and time management skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis IATA/TDG certification in Dangerous Goods is considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage day-to-day logistics operations, including freight, LTL, and customs clearance processes Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring on-time delivery Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export laws, and applicable international trade standards Maintain and update HS Tariff code databases for product classification accuracy Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods Monitor and track shipments, ensuring visibility and timely communication of status updates Identify and resolve logistics issues to minimize delays and optimize supply chain performance Prepare and manage shipping documents, records, and reports Utilize logistics software and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and coordination Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities

Steel-Toed Boots Requirement:

Candidates are required to wear steel-toed boots for this role to ensure safety compliance in the workplace. Applicants must have access to a pair of steel-toed boots prior to starting employment.
