Exciting Career Opportunity! Adecco is in search of a full-time Logistics Coordinator to join the ranks of our esteemed client, nestled in the heart of Bowmanville, ON. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in negotiating rates, booking full loads and LTL shipments, and meticulously preparing all necessary documentation for shipping equipment and parts to customers. Your commitment to utilizing various carriers and couriers while ensuring utmost customer satisfaction is crucial in this role, where logistics and superior service intersect.

Pay Rate: $21 - $24 / hour

Location: Bowmanville, ON

Shifts: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 5 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

Negotiating rates and arranging full loads, as well as LTL shipments

Generating essential documents such as BOL, Customs documents, and packing slips for outgoing shipments

Concluding the final stage of the sales process by invoicing shipments

Providing exemplary customer service by offering status updates, expected delivery dates, progress reports, and soliciting feedback

Requirements and Qualifications:

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

Prior experience with shipments, customs paperwork, and bills of lading is mandatory

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel

Outstanding customer service skills

Capable of communicating effectively with staff

Able to organize, prioritize and focus on the jobs at hand

Possess strong attention to detail
