Position: Logistics CoordinatorReports to: Procurement and Planning Manager

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team! Our Logistics Coordinator will manage all aspects of shipping routes and delivery as well as effectively manage and resolve customer concerns.

Experience
  • You have at least 1-2 years of work experience in transportation, logistics and/or relevant background
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing facility
  • Knowledge and experience working with GP (Great Plains)

  • Coordinate all logistics and transportation needs in a busy and growing food manufacturing environment
  • Process all shipments, small parcel orders, documentation, and related information
  • Establish relationships with transportation companies and recommend ways to reduce costs
  • Ensure timely and consistent follow up with designated departments, carrier companies, overseas shipments, etc.
  • Keep track of shipments and truck movement and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, customer issues, imports/exports, late orders and more
  • Review and approve all costs for shipments, set KPI\xe2\x80\x99s, and log both regularly

  • You are willing to work flexible shifts to cover for vacations, sick days or leave if required
  • You are willing to work occasional extra hours to address time-sensitive matters
