Currently hiring for a Logistics Coordinator in Mississauga
Full-time Permanent
Operation Logistics Coordinator
Day Shift: 8 Hours shift. Must be flexible to work between the hours of 7am and 6pm.
$50,000-$55,000 annually
Junior fit
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment

:

• Plan, organize and manage the logistics operations
• Coordinator with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are delivered on time and in compliance with regulations
• Coordinate transportation activities, including route planning, carrier selection, and shipment scheduling
• Ensure the proper packaging, labeling, and documentation of good for transportation
• Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Streamline logistics processes to minimize lead times and improve overall customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with local, national and international regulations governing logistics operations
• Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimize disruptions to the supply chain

Requirements:

• 1-2 year experience in logistics operations, preferably in a coordinator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of logistics principles, practices and regulations
• Proficient in using logistics software, such as inventory management systems and transportation management systems
