Job Title: Logistics Clerk - Shipping
Pay Rate Range: $19.85/hr. On T4
Duration: 3+ months (possible extension)
Work Location: Burlington, ON L7R 3Y8
Shift: 1st Shift B --10: 00 AM to 6: 30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Mandatory Requirements:

• Candidate must have reliable transportation (public transit not available).
• Frequent lifting of boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Must be ready for overtime on weekdays and weekends upon request.
• Must wear safety shoes at all times.

Position Summary:
As part of the Logistics team, the candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping goods and materials, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to HSE, security, and quality standards.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, receive, and store incoming materials safely and accurately.
• Follow all logistics, quality, and security procedures when receiving and shipping goods.
• Perform ERP transactions accurately for inventory control.
• Manage vault access and ensure timely service to other departments.
• Handle mailing duties including sorting, labeling, packing, tracking, and documentation.
• Investigate and resolve any shipping, receiving, or card issuing issues.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely (training provided).
• Participate in safety, 5S, and HSE programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Support team harmony and high-performance initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel).
• ERP experience is an asset but not mandatory.
• Strong work ethic, responsibility, and confidentiality.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work without constant supervision.
• Previous team-based work experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Operate material handling equipment and lift up to 50 lbs daily.
