Job Description

Our Logistics division is a fast-growing brokerage arm that builds Bison's network across North America by developing strong relationships with our partner carriers. As a Logistics Assistant, you will work directly with our network of partner carriers and Bison operations team to coordinate freight movement through Canada and the US, in order to properly service our client base.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Defining all details relating to loads, ensuring that the chosen carrier understands and is able to meet all expectations
• Order Tracking and Tracing
• Recording of information in various operating systems
• Troubleshooting as required
• Sending revised load tenders for updated information

Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

• Prior Transportation Industry and/or Logistics experience is an asset, but not a must
• Sound analytical and critical thinking skills
• Decision making and organizational skills
• Proven communication and time-management skills
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• The ability to thrive in a fast-pace, deadline-oriented environment
• Entrepreneurial spirit
