Provide oversight and direction of all material movement in the Bradford Warehouse.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance of our Warehouse operation.
Work closely with Warehouse Team to ensure overall operational success.
Schedule and manage Warehouse team of Drivers/Material Handlers.
Establish and manage an effective tool (asset) tracking system that ensures our tools are accounted for in branch and while on job sites.
Work closely with Warehouse team to ensure all tools are in working order. Arrange all repairs of tools at approved service facilities and track repair costs to ensure our tool budget remains.
Write shipping memos, plan delivery routes, and dispatch drivers to ensure timely deliveries. Send schedules for the next day and oversee construction logistics to maintain workflow efficiency.
Place orders for ammonia, PPE, welding supplies, parts, materials, tools, and equipment to ensure project readiness. Ensure procurement covers both Service and Construction needs to support operational continuity.
Complete documentation for the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) to meet regulatory requirements. Manage welding coupons, including sending and receiving them, to ensure compliance.
Provide job numbers and cost centers for received items to track expenses. Research and relay information to Construction/Service teams, deciding on the next steps for items (store, ship, or wait for additional items) to optimize resource management.
Oversee the rental and maintenance of tools, tele handlers, and forklifts to support both Service and Construction teams, maintaining accurate records and optimizing resource management.
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory position
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good attention to details.
Motivated & a self-starter
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English required
Forklift experience required
Familiarity with industrial refrigeration industry will be considered an asset
