With over 50 years of experience, MTM is dedicated to delivering top-notch products and exceptional customer service to clients worldwide. : We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics and Inventory Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and regulating the movement of goods and materials between two MTM locations. Additionally, the Logistics and Inventory Controller will ensure precise inventory records, optimal inventory levels, and that projects have the necessary materials as per the Master Build Schedule. Responsibilities:
  • Organize, coordinate, and oversee the shipping and receiving of goods and materials at both manufacturing sites.
  • Guarantee accuracy and completeness of all incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintain logistics and inventory control documentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels, produce inventory reports, and generate reports identifying items that need replenishment or restocking.
  • Develop and implement inventory control and management procedures, including maintaining stock rotation and disposing of expired stock. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare requisition orders for equipment, materials, and stock replenishment, and reconcile physical inventory with computer counts.
  • Input data for production scheduling, stock replenishment/relocation, and inventory adjustments.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate recording in the inventory management system at both locations.
  • Collaborate with the production team and project managers to ensure availability of materials as per the Master Build Schedule.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure logistics and inventory operations are aligned with company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor\'s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred, with at least 2-5 years of experience in logistics and inventory control.
  • Sound understanding of inventory management systems and procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage inventory at two locations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is desirable.
