ChampionX has an immediate need for a Logistics Analyst located in Grande Prairie, AB. The primary role of this position is to coordinate all internal Fleet activities in the area. This would include making sure that the chemical required for the deliveries is available and communicating the needs to MRP. Secondary to this would be to ensure that the Fleet is current with maintenance and to assist the Logistics Associate and MR with inventory and delivery confirmations. This position is a training platform for future FOMs and there are many reports and directives required monthly in this role from the Manager that are performed by this role. What You Will Do:
  • Works closely with other departments, maintaining a good working relationship to ensure a smooth flow of scheduling and planning functions. Key departments include MRP, O2C, Sales reps, Area Manager, Plants, SH&E, Fleet and Logistics Associate.
  • Scheduling of all product deliveries including emergency deliveries.
  • Creates BOL, trip log, delivery sheet and attaches any necessary labels, SDS or maps for Fleet deliveries.
  • Pulls ZSDOSR report from SAP regularly to see new orders in the system and updates delivery report.
  • Consolidates and coordinates orders for delivery to optimize Fleet and 3rd party deliveries when possible
  • Communicates Fleet delivered chemical volumes to Sales and )2C and work to resolve and discrepancies
  • Manages the Outlook Operations scheduling calendar.
  • Evaluates truck utilization, load efficiencies and generates reports including Delivery Report, Trip Log Report and FleetX management.
  • Manage inventory to ensure product is available for daily Fleet deliveries and communicates product needs.
  • Works with MRP and Sales to coordinate the movement of stalled or dead stock inventory from stock points.
  • Monitors lead time and works with Sales to communicate the importance of as much lead time as possible.
  • Assist Logistics Associate and MRP with monthly inventory counts.
  • Print product label from SAP required for new tanks and updating existing labelling.
  • SAP MIGO duties (receiving all incoming shipments, transfers, Pos) for all assigned areas.
  • Monitors vendor compliance on Comply Works with warehouse personnel as needed.
  • Conducts routine and regular communication regarding scheduling, inventory, product compatibility issues, mechanical requirements, etc.
  • Complete MyBuy verification, coding and issue resolution
  • Ensures Preventative Maintenance Programs (eMaint) for stock points are developed and adhered to per requirements.
  • Communicates needs, issues, and opportunities to the Field Operations Manager.
  • Other duties as required by the Field Operations Manager
Position Details:
  • Candidate must reside in Grande Prairie, AB or the surrounding area
  • This position works Monday to Friday.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associates degree, certificate, diploma or HNC or technical school
  • 4-5 years experience in similar role
  • Experience in oil & gas, manufacturing and / or trucking fleet.
  • proficient in excel, working knowledge in SAP,
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritization
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan ahead.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift, twist and bend a minimum of 20 lbs
  • This position is a safety-sensitive role and pre-employment medical testing will be required
