Job Description


The Logistics Administrator/Coordinator within our Logistics team will generate incoming and outbound manifests for the Operations team. The role involves assisting with various aspects of logistics operations, including order tracking/processing, inventory management, transportation coordination, and documentation at all levels, including compliance with assigned Carriers or Agent contracts. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a time- fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Order Processing:
  • Assist in processing customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and carriers for shipments.
  • Keep track of order status and communicate updates to relevant parties.
  • Help resolve any order-related issues promptly.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock monitoring.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel for proper stock rotation and storage.
  • Support in identifying inventory discrepancies and implementing solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize inventory levels.

Transportation Coordination:

  • Assist in coordinating transportation logistics, including scheduling and tracking shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and guidelines.
  • Aid in arranging customs clearance for international shipments.
  • Monitor transportation costs and propose cost-saving opportunities.

Documentation and Recordkeeping:

  • Help prepare and maintain shipping and logistics documentation.
  • Organize and update electronic and physical logistics files.
  • Support record retention compliance.
  • Assist in preparing reports and analyzing logistics data.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders for coordination and issue resolution.
  • Respond to inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with partners.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to implementing best practices.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to streamline logistics operations.
  • Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Understand and maintain work priorities.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Additional tasks or duties may be assigned as needed to support the Company\xe2\x80\x99s objectives

Skills / Experience / Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office applications.
  • Previous experience or relevant certifications or coursework are a plus.
  • Familiarity with transportation regulations and customs procedures is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail in data entry and documentation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow in the logistics field.
