Sunbury Transport is a premier transportation company, specializing in US and Canadian cross-border shipments as well as domestic Canadian shipments, offering logistics services and managing freight via truckload van, flatbed, bulk wood fiber and container service. We draw on exceptional teams \xe2\x80\x93 in the office and on the road \xe2\x80\x93 to provide diverse and innovative trucking and logistics solutions.We are currently seeking a Logistician, Capacity Management based in Saint John, New Brunswick.Qualifications:

• Experience within the transportation/logistics industry required;
• Passionate about relationship building, customer service, and problem solving;
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced industry;
• Excellent proactive communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with an attention to detail;
• Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work within a team;
• Computer skills are essential (MS Office);

Key Responsibilities:

• Ongoing sourcing of new carriers for existing and new business;
• Build strong relationships with the carriers;
• Negotiate competitive rates with both carriers and customers;
• TMS Account Management activities;
• Communicating with carriers and negotiations for needed equipment, service expectations, and rates;
• Identify areas for improvement and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives;
