Westfreight Systems Inc. is a Canadian owned company leading the ever changing transportation industry since it was incorporated in June of 1989. The company was formed with one tractor/trailer unit and has grown to over 100 units, and 5 terminals throughout the United States and Canada. An emphasis on providing knowledgeable service through strong managerial leadership and offering an expansive field of transportation services including truckload, LTL, and over- dimensional shipments has made such growth possible. Westfreight is currently seeking a Logistic Specialist to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for managing our customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements by providing the equipment, the solutions and the expertise to handle all methods of transportation from flatbed, van, LTL, Truckload, Air, and Expedites. Quoting and creating orders based on customer email requests. The ideal candidate will be eager to make a difference in the customer relationship and contributing to making positive changes in our team. Qualifications: As the successful candidate, you will be self-motivated, results driven and a team player. In addition, you will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience as a Logistic Specialist in the transportation field with knowledge of relevant transport regulations is required
• Experience and knowledge of Canada and US shipping regulations and practices required
• Flat deck, Van, both Truckload and LTL shipping knowledge is mandatory
• This position requires an individual who is adaptable; self-motivated, results driven and a team player
• Successful with building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• An expert at multi-tasking and effectively managing changing priorities
• High level of detail in performing tasks
• Proactive, able to identify early on any potential issues, and to implement solutions
• Ability to work varying hours and be on a rotating on call schedule
• Experience in Truckmate & Microsoft Office
