The Logistic Development Manager accomplishes their objectives by personal action and/or delegation of responsibility as appropriate. All tasks are performed with sufficient speed and accuracy to ensure courteous and prompt customer service is maintained at all times.Responsibilities: o Conduct daily huddle with team memberso Lead regular team meetingo Attend Lumber and Building Material Department weekly meetings & strategic meetingso Set and Analyze KPI's for Yard, Warehouse & Delivery Teamso Optimize Delivery and Logistics Solfwareo Achieve and follow budgetso Focus on safety through Worksafe NB Standardso Lead Process Improvement Projectso Achieve accurate Inventory levels through cycle countso Optimize yard map and product locationso Foster a culture of Teamwork, engagement, and customer experienceo Keep Cleanliness at the highest standardsSkills and Qualifications:

  • High School graduation or equivalent.
  • Process improvement training is an asset
  • Previous Warehouse Management experience is essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, and delivery personnel.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written and printed materials.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
