We are looking for a

Logistics Coordinator

to join our Logisticsteam! Our Logistics Coordinator will manage all aspects of shipping routes and delivery as well as effectively manage and resolve customer concerns.

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator who is willing to champion logistics and transportation as we continue to grow and expand! You must be able to work well in a very fast-paced environment resolving issues and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and help develop best practices to streamline some of our processes.

You are great with numbers and have good mathematical skills You have solid computer skills including MS Office Suite You have a working understanding of sea freight and port terminal operations

Experience

You have at least 1-2 years of work experience in ocean transportation, logistics and/or relevant background

Nice-to-Have

Experience working in a food manufacturing facility Experience managing import / export ocean shipments
Knowledge and experience working with GP (Great Plains)

things you will do...



Coordinate all logistics and transportation needs in a busy and growing food manufacturing environment Process all shipments, small parcel orders, documentation, and related information Establish relationships with transportation companies and recommend ways to reduce costs Ensure timely and consistent follow up with designated departments, carrier companies, overseas shipments, etc. Keep track of shipments and truck movement and troubleshoot issues as they arise Resolve problems concerning transportation, customer issues, imports/exports, late orders and more Review and approve all costs for shipments, set KPI's, and log both regularly

Salary - $50,300 - 59,000
