Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the supply chain. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of logistics processes. The Logistics Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries, managing inventory levels, and optimizing warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Transportation Coordination:



Arranging for the transportation of goods, including selecting carriers, scheduling shipments, and coordinating deliveries. Handling transportation logistics for TL, LTL, Intermodal, Ocean, and international shipments. Assisting in coordinating the transportation of finished products to the customers; Completing customs paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments In transit tracking, providing POD's, and rapid support for transportation incidents and delays.

Communication:



Working with various departments, including suppliers, manufacturers, and customers, to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the supply chain. Communicating closely with production, quality, shipping/receiving, and accounting teams.

Problem-Solving:



Identifying and resolving issues related to logistics operations, such as delays, damage, or discrepancies. Negotiating competitive carrier rates to optimize cost savings. Reduction of incremental storage, demurrage and freight costs related to any service issues

Requirements



Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred (2 to 3 years). Preferred bachelor's degree or diploma/certificate in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field CCS, CITT, CCLP credentials are an advantage. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Detail-oriented to manage inventory and track shipments effectively. Effective communication skills to collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of tariff schedules & accessorial fees.

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
