What You'll Do:

Operate safely and efficiently -

Drive log trucks in accordance with J.D. Irving, Limited's Best Management Practices and legal requirements.

Meet production targets -

Maintain productivity and utilization goals while working independently in remote environments.

Perform inspections -

Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure cargo is secure and safe for transport.

Collaborate with loaders -

Work as a team with log loader operators to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

What We're Looking For:

Education -

High School diploma required.

Licensing -

Valid Class 1 Driver's License or equivalent.

Experience -

Truck driving and woods experience is an asset.

Mechanical skills -

General truck mechanical knowledge is considered an asset.

Reliability -

Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
