Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lodge Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will understand Off-Grid living practices and be a positive hard working individual that enjoys the outdoors. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations from the moment our guests arrive at our dock by providing exceptional guest services and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. This position is perfect for individuals who appreciate a laid back setting, but have a passion for ensuring your daily responsibilities are accomplished while you thrive for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and maintaining a positive relationship with guests
• Assisting in the kitchen with washing dishes while maintaining a hygienic appearance and following Ontario Public Health regulations
• Daily fueling, cleaning and upkeep on rental boats, including necessary items that belong in boats
• Daily cleaning of fish cleaning shack
• Maintain worm fridge and provide inventory of worms and ice
• May be required to assist with daily cleaning and disinfecting of cabins and/or change over cabins including linens, toilets, surfaces, and floors
• Landscaping of property including lawn and garden maintenance
• Provide daily watering / weeding to the landscaping throughout the property
• Assist with projects and general maintenance throughout the property including painting and maintenance on docks and cabins
• Maintain a clean environment within your own accommodation including your own laundry and assist with the main house
• May be required to assist with daily camp laundry
• May be required to assist with daily cleaning of shower house and sauna shower
• Maintains a positive attitude towards health and safety throughout your contract with us
• Hours may fluctuate on a daily basis
• A schedule of daily expectations will be provided upon your arrival which will include the above

Experience

• Previous experience with lawn mowers and weed eater's is preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with a fishing lodge setting is a plus
• Wood working skills is an asset
• Boating knowledge is a strength
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and our team
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role
• A progressive attitude towards health and safety we consider a benefit

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From $3,141.00 per month
