Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist for casual shifts in Toronto, Mississauga, Scarborough areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures while ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to best practices in dental health.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients. Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and other oral health issues. Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges. Administer anesthesia and manage patient comfort during procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities. Provide specialized care for pediatric patients when necessary.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Active state dental license to practice dentistry. Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in using CAD technology being a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
