We find ourselves with a surplus of work and are again looking to hire more Locksmiths. We have NOT LAID ANYONE OFF.

Immediate Hire: Locksmith in Edmonton, AB

Looking to hire Experienced Locksmiths immediately. (Journeyman Locksmiths preferred) for FULL TIME locksmith work. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE VALID LOCKSMITH EXPERIENCE

Please DO NOT apply if you are an apprentice or 'looking to get into the field' at this time.

Starting wage is $20 - $30 hr, depending on skill and experience level, plus benefits as noted below. immediate full-time hours.

Experienced Canadian Locksmiths more than welcome, relocation assistance may be provided.

Non-Canadian Locksmiths are welcome, though Journeyman Certification is required for international locksmiths (Relocation/immigration/work permit assistance may be provided)

Experience with Medeco, Abloy, Mul-T-Lock or other lock & key systems are an asset, but we will train on anything required to completed the work.

Applicants will be expected to perform a variety of locksmith services including, but not limited to, installing and repairing locks, rekeying deadbolts, and installing and maintaining door hardware.

Responsibilities Include

Ability to operate locks and deadbolts of all types and designs Ability to operate hand tools and power tools Ability to read blueprints and locksmith drawings Must be able to work independently on the job site, as well as in a team environment Must be able to work in all weather conditions Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 10 hours at a time Must be able to work in an office environment with heavy equipment Must be able to work overtime as needed

Skills

Proven experience as locksmith or lock repair technician Knowledge of safe operation of hand and power tools (e.g. drills, saws) Ability to read blueprints and locksmith drawings. Good English communication skills (written and oral) Excellent physical condition and strength
We do safes & safe work, we DO NOT do automotive work or car open-ups on the road, only in the shop.
