As a Lock Shop Coordinator, you will provide specialized lock and key services to The City of Calgary. You will be responsible for maintaining The Citys Master Key systems, physically change locks, cut keys, and pin lock cores, ensuring security integrity for City sites. Primary duties include:
Create pinned cores and create physical keys that operate the cylinders.
Design and maintain complex Master Key Systems.
Register and track keys and cores, document key holder information and door/building information.
Assign access levels to staff.
Co-ordinate service requests from business units with contract locksmiths.
Track service requests and invoices.
Advise clients using specialized knowledge of institutional locksmithing techniques and practices.
