Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced

Local & Cross-Border Driver

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight and materials within the local area, with the possibility of runs along the I-5 corridor into the United States. This role requires a minimum of

1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience

, a strong understanding of transportation regulations, and a commitment to safety. Drivers will be home the same day after each shift, with occasional cross-border work as operational needs require.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles to complete local and cross-border deliveries. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Manage documentation for cross-border shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US/Canadian customs requirements. Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, updates, and any delivery challenges. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience

(required). Valid

Class 1 driver's license

with a clean driver's abstract. Ability to handle both local deliveries and cross-border trips as needed.

Priority will be given to applicants with a valid US visa/FAST card and prior cross-border driving experience.

Strong knowledge of commercial driving safety standards and regulations. Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
