We are seeking a reliable and experienced Local City Class 1 Driver to join our team in . The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently within the city. Duties

Safely operate trucks with manual transmission, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Execute route driving tasks efficiently while adhering to scheduled delivery times. Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly. Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations.

Experience

Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving routes within the city. Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with freight handling involving flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers. Familiarity with manual transmission trucks is required. Experience operating forklifts or dump trucks is a plus. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for different truck types (e.g., tanker, flatbed). Knowledge of load & unload procedures and route planning skills. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in urban environments. Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
