We are seeking a reliable and skilled Local Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently within designated routes. This position requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, and a flexible work schedule depending on appointment times.
Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to various locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
Skills
Proven experience (2-3 years) in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in automotive repair situations.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules.
