Job Description

DanFoss Couriers is hiring for a Full-Time 5-Ton Truck Driver. We specialize in next-day delivery of courier and LTL shipments with dedicated distribution vehicles for pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and some of the world's largest e-commerce websites. With a large fleet of Vans, 1 ton and 5 ton trucks as well as our own tractors and trailers, we have the equipment to expertly transport our customer's goods. A BC owned and operated business established in 1967, we have provided superior service to our customers for over 50 years. All of our drivers are trained in the proper handling of dangerous goods as regulated by Transport Canada.

Successful candidates:

Must have minimum of 1 year of verifiable professional driving experience (ideal candidate will have previous 5-ton delivery experience) Must Have a clean abstract (under 6 points) and submit "N" abstract with resume Must pass our criminal record check Must be physically able to offload freight with pallet jack or as needed Must be flexible and available to cover other shifts as needed Positive "can do" team oriented attitude, good communication skills, good customer service skills Forklift and power tailgate experience a bonus Must be able to work with minimal supervision Job Details: 35-45 hrs week; paid OT past 45 hrs/week Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday shifts (optional, but opportunity for OT) Day shift start time 6:30-7:00 Casual dress - PPE (except safety footwear) supplied

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
