Looking to join an energetic and dynamic warehouse team? Pet Valu, a specialty retailer of pet food and supplies for Bosley\'s, Tisol, and Total Pet, is looking for candidates like you!

We are looking for an Outbound Loader/Wrapper to join our team at our Etobicoke, Ontario Distribution Center to fill the following FULL-TIME positions paying $18/hr to start, with the potential to earn up to $19.50/hr within 4-6 weeks:

• 6 AM \xe2\x80\x93 2:30 PM
• Monday to Friday

What you will be doing:

• Punctual attendance and arrival on shift as schedule ready to work
• Attend crew meetings and communication sessions as required
• Participate in stretch program
• Receive work assignment and understand requirements
• Sweeping and preparation of outbound trucks and trailers for loading
• Ensure all preloading safety protocols are met for trucks, trailers, and dock plates prior to loading
• Wrap, Tag and prepare outbound store orders for shipment
• Validated skid counts and paperwork for all orders prior to shipment
• Load outbound trucks and trailers in accordance with departure schedule priorities and sequence
• Complete all paperwork validating load contents, pallet counts and associated tracking information
• RF usage for all loading tasks
• Maintain communication of loading status with Supervisor, Lead Hand, Administrator and Shunter
• Safe and Responsible operation of equipment as per Health & Safety regulations and procedures
• Maintaining Sanitation levels in accordance with DC expectations
• Achieve required KPIs and Productivity Targets specifically for On Time Shipping schedule
• Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

Education

• High School

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a high paced dock environment performing loading/unloading
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating Automatic Pallet Wrappers
• Minimum of 1 year of previous certified single or double pallet jack operation experience (mandatory)
• History of safe, responsible, and accident-free driving
• Current valid certification on applicable equipment
