Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Loader/Unloader to join our warehouse team. This role involves the safe and efficient handling of goods, including loading and unloading shipments, order picking, and operating heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with warehouse management systems to ensure smooth logistics operations and maintain inventory accuracy.

Duties

Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other machinery Operate order pickers and other warehouse equipment to retrieve or store products efficiently Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move goods within the warehouse Maintain organization of warehouse space, ensuring safety standards are met Conduct routine inspections of equipment like forklifts and cranes to ensure proper functioning Support warehouse management system data entry for inventory tracking and order processing Assist in construction or maintenance tasks as needed to support warehouse operations

Qualifications

Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction is preferred Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is a plus Experience with order pickers, forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other heavy machinery is desirable Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols in a warehouse environment Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and operate equipment throughout shifts Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is advantageous Warehouse experience including order picking and load & unload tasks is highly valued

Pay: $18.20-$27.41 per hour
