Driving a 12 ft cube truck to deliver cabinets. The candidate will also be responible for laoding and unloading cabinets.
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading cabinets while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, mechanical knowledge. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the flow of operations within our logistics framework.

Responsibilities

Safely operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including forklifts and clamp trucks. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records using warehouse management systems. Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure efficient order picking and distribution. Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization. Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment, including cranes and order pickers.

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse distribution and management. Strong mechanical knowledge related to truck operation and maintenance. Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes within a warehouse environment. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks. Experience with order picking techniques and best practices. Capability for heavy lifting and physical stamina for long hours on the job. Previous experience in construction or similar fields is a plus.
