We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our construction and heavy machinery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators. This role requires mechanical knowledge, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in demanding environments. The Equipment Operator will play a vital role in ensuring project completion with precision and safety.
Duties
Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and cranes with expertise and safety compliance
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance
Assist in site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling tasks
Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to execute tasks accurately
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues and performing basic repairs when necessary
Experience
Proven experience operating heavy machinery including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, and crane
Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is preferred
Background in construction or farm machinery operation is highly desirable
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
Familiarity with heavy equipment maintenance and mechanical systems
Prior experience working with heavy construction or industrial projects is a plus
