Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Loader Operator to work at an ASPHALT PLANT.

The Loader Operator is responsible for operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner that follows the manufacture's operational manual.

The Operator plays a crucial role in the production and distribution of asphalt materials.

Duties:

Operate a Front End Loader to move material(s) into the hoppers, crushers, conveyors and trucks. Monitor material flow and adjust loads as necessary to maintain a steady and consistent supply. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any issues to the Plant Operator. Keep accurate records of daily activities, including material quantities loaded and equipment operating hours. Work with Plant Operator to ensure that materials loaded meet quality standards.

Skills:

Minimum of two years previous experience operating Front End Loader(s) or similar heavy equipment. Knowledge of asphalt production processes, equipment, and quality control measures is a plus. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Valid Class 5 driver's licence and reliable transportation to site. Must have the physical strength, stamina and coordination to complete the assigned duties. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be comfortable working around heavy machinery and industrial equipment.

Pay: $24.79-$37.54 per hour
